Application
Metallographic precise cutting machines are used to cut the hardness testing materials or metallographic function testing materials into the desired dimensions and positions. The workpieces cut by the precise cutting machines are usually with least deformation and delicate cutting edges requiring no further coarse grinding. The applicable machines include the series of TNC-35, TNC-50, TNC-60, TNC-70, TNC-90, TN-120 and other relevant custom-made machines.
Metallographic embedded machines are used to embed the small testing workpieces or the testing workpieces cut by the cutting machines mentioned above for later refining and polishing. The applicable machines include TNM-32, TNM-32HA, NM-32BC and other relevant custom-made machines. The applicable phenolic moulding powders for embedding include G&G’s series of TOPEX and EPOFINE.
Metallographic Grinding & Polishing Machines are used for coarse grinding, refining and polishing with Alumina of the embedded or cut workpieces. Due to the variety of materials and the operational convenience and consistency, in the Euro-American countries, diamond plates are usually used for grinding, while diamond polishing liquids for pre-polishing and polishing. Final Liquids may be applied for the final polishing of flexible materials such as Copper and Aluminum to prepare for later material analysis testing. The applicable machines include the series of TNP-200F, TNP-200FR, TNP-200FRS-A3 and TNP-200FRS-R3. The applicable polishing materials include Lamplan’s series of diamond plates and diamond polishing liquids as well as G&G’s series of Alumina pastes, waterproof abrasive papers, diamond polishing liquids and polishing flannels.
